Contributed to this open source project for both Angular front-end and Node.js back-end TypeScript code. PeerTube is a federated video streaming platform and a self-hosted alternative to YouTube.

Features contributed:

  • Ability for hoster to “quarantine” videos in case pirated or unlabelled NSFW
  • Optional email verification of new users
  • Documentation improvements

Also developed bash scripts for automated downloading of YouTube videos to Jupiter Broadcasting instance.
